About the Role:
At Ithaca Impact, we’re on a mission to drive positive social and environmental change through innovative impact measurement practices. We are seeking a PowerBi Analyst to join our growing team and play a crucial role in our program offerings, such as our Get Set for Impact program. An initiative that supports female founders in showcasing their impact and securing vital investment.
The Power BI Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. This role involves working with large datasets, creating data models, and ensuring the delivery of clear, accurate, and timely information to assist in business planning and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Gather, analyze, and interpret business data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Create interactive, intuitive, and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data insights and are tailored to program needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, ensuring that reports and dashboards meet their needs.
Present data findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior management, helping to drive informed decision-making.
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation to ensure high-quality, reliable reports.
To be successful in the role, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or data-driven field (e.g., economics, statistics, business).
Proven experience with PowerBi, including report creation, dashboard design, and data analysis.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with data analysis and visualization, preferably in consulting, sustainability, or impact measurement.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present data insights effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, growing environment.
